ECS utilizes established ISO/TS certified sources and coordinates the exacting details related to molded rubber and plastics. Sourcing includes PPAP (Pre Production Approval Process) analysis and documentation, control document development, metrology, and specification development/validation. ECS qualifies all products with CAD development, APQP, and logistical planning, so what you qualify is what you get.
Rubber Molding
Rubber Molding – With both standard and vacuum presses, our sourcing is capable of producing consistently conforming products in a multitude of materials. Using controls from material mix and preform weigh through process times and temperatures, our products are produced with a controlled, consistent result.
Plastics Molding
Plastics Molding – While plastics molding is prevalent throughout the world, our sourcing is very adept at more specialized molding projects, including overmolding over plastics and metals. Our qualification process is very thorough, and includes all aspects of production from tooling through final packaging and logistics. There are many variables which impact injection molding, and our experience allows us to plan for a result with no surprises.
